I did enjoy getting to know all of you this year, and teaching you.  I wish you a terrific summer.  Don't forget to wear sunscreen for all the lovely hot days we are going to have!

Final Exams are this week!

To all Grade 8 and 9 French Students:

Your final exam for French has been moved to either Thursday (the 16th) or Friday (the 17th) of this week.  This move was requested so that Gr 8 and 9 students would not have 5 exams in two days next week.
I will be in my room Tuesday and Wednesday before school and at  lunch to help you study, and after school Tuesday til 4 and Wednesday til 3:30 (Staff meeting).  Come and see me if you need help with anything!
Be sure you have handed in all assignments- check the back wall of the classroom for posted marks so far.
TEXT BOOKS-  We are still missing several, and $100 each to replace, we MUST get them back.  Check your room, check your locker, under the bed- everywhere!!

Grade 8 Band:  Please remember all your music to hand in on Wednesday.  Also please thoroughly clean borrowed instruments and return them Wednesday.

Grade 8 and 9 students only attend classes which are giving exams next Monday, June 20th and Tuesday, June 21st.

Study and be ready!  Bonne Chance!

Thank goodness!

Excellent, we have made it to the second round!  Now let's take advantage of the breather and focus on working hard on our dream houses and family trees!

Grade 8:  We are studying the Family. Your  project, due the first week of May, is to create your Family tree, labelled in French.

Grade 9:  Work on learning all the vocabulary for Unite 9- La Maison.  Your term project is to create your dream home.  You may build it, design in on the web, do a power point, draw it~  create!  You must use all the nouns on the vocabulary list, and label it clearly in French.  Due the 3rd week of May.

We have lots to learn still, so let's knuckle down for this last term and work hard!
